Usually the focus of interest for the foreign visitors, this section invites the participation of national film makers from all regions and languages. The selection of the best entries for the year, made by panels of eminent personalities associated with the cinema, is based on the thematic and aesthetic excellence of the films, without any attempt at regional representation. The films are provided with English subtitles before being screened at the festival.

47th International Film Festival of India 2016.

He 46th International Film Festival of India, that began in Goa on November 20, draws to close today with a Closing Ceremony paying a musical tribute to the spirit of Cinema and screening of the Closing Film ‘The Clan’ from Argentina.

IRANIAN FILM FESTIVAL

As part of cultural exchange programme, Directorate of film festivals in collaboration with Iran Cultural House, New Delhi is organising an Iranian film festival in Sirifort Auditoirium-2 from 16-19 July 2016 . 14 films will be screened during this Festival.
